Description

U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, New York District, intends to procure services to install security gate system at Caven Point Marine Terminal. The intent of this contract is to remove and dispose of the existing entrance gate, operator and its accessories; install a new 40' (long)(x 6'(high) Entrance Sliding Gate along with hydraulic slide operator and a sufficient concrete pad for proper anchorage of the operator; and install a new 3' (wide) x 6' (high) Pedestrian Swing Gate with concrete walkway. All materials and equipment, as stated below, shall be installed, inspected and tested to assure in proper working condition and ensure that both gates are installed as ordered. The duration of installation is 60 calendar days (materials ordering and waiting period included) after the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. Prospective bidders must investigate and inspect the existing conditions of the job site at Caven Point Marine Terminal before bid opening.
