Description

The CECOM Acquisition Center-Washington intends to extend the performance period from 1 October 2002 until 30 September 2003 for Contract Number DAHC94-91-C-0002 with SAIC-IS. The extension will allow the developer to complete testing and error correction support for the final software increment, developed in fourth quarter FY 2002, during the Government's acceptance and operational testing. Support will consist of migration of the increment's software to four Operational Integration Sites (OIS) for government field-testing; Conducting training and user familiarization on the functionality of the increment's software; Supporting the ATEC's OIS Evaluation and the Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of the increment; Completing all fielding activities required to deploy the increment to the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Europe, and the Pacific Rim; Providing hardware, software and documentation maintenance support for the deployed RCAS baseline; Supporting all activities required to fully transition the contract's activities to a follow-on maintenance contractor selected through full and open competition.
