Description

The Comanche Program Manager's Office (PMO) has a requirement to provide hardware and software maintenance for two computers integrated into the Comanche Portable Cockpit (CPC) simulators located at Ft. Rucker, AL. The hardware and software supported includes proprietary products from Silicon Graphics Inc (SGI). In order to provide the required level of support, the supporting contractor will be required to have in-depth knowledge of and access to the original source code of the software modules in question. To date, no third-party vendors have been licensed to have this level of access to the products. Accordingly, this requirement is sole source to Silicon Graphics Inc, 1500 Perimeter Parkway, Huntsville, AL. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. Please see Note 22.
