Description

The National Institutes of Health/NIDA-IRP intends to procure, on a sole source basis, with Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden, to conduct laboratory testing , Nuclear Orphan Receptors in Substance Abuse. Three studies are included: 1.) Cross-sensitization between chronic running and addictive drugs, 2.) Biochemical responses after excessive running and drugs of abuse, and 3.) Functional characterization of Nurr1 in substancia nigra and VTA in the adult brain. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than 100,000.00. This acquisition is being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
