Description

The U.S. Geological Survey Geologic Discipline has a requirement for conducting a helicopter aeromagnetic survey over Mount Baker and Mount Adams, Washington to provide digitally recorded and processed aeromagnetic data and optional five frequency electromagnetic data. Total field aeromagnetic surveys shall be flown East-West at 0.155 mile (250 meters) line spacing with a terrain clearance of 500 feet (150 meters). Two North-South control lines are to be flown for each area. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and facilities, required for conducting a helicopter aeromagnetic survey in the Mount Baker and Mount Adams areas, Washington. They shall provide digitally recorded aeromagnetic data corrected for diurnal variations. If chosen, the optional five frequency electromagnetic data shall be initial base level corrected. If chosen, the optional suite of geophysical products shall include magnetics IGRF corrected and leveled and fully processed three or five frequency EM data. Areas to be flown: Mt. Baker 62 line miles, and Mt. Adams 62 line miles. Optional add-on items include magnetics and 5- frequency EM for both Mt. Baker and Mt. Adams, geophysical products for magnetics and three & five frequencies, and add-on flight lines not to exceed 500 line miles (805 km).
