Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, National Weather Service intends to purchase 2000 each, wire decking for the National Logistics Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The wire decks must meet the following specifications: ANSI MH 26.2; 44 inches Wide x 52 inches Long waterfall to accommodate 1 1/2 inch step beams; 2 inch x 4 inch wire mesh made of 4 gage wire; four evenly placed support channels made of 14 gage steel; grey enamel finish; 3000 lb. or greater capacity. This acquisition will be processed under the requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All contractors interested in receiving a Request for Quotation (RFQ) may submit a request in writing to the attention of Jackie Shewmaker. An RFQ will be available on or about July 20, 2001. Facsimile requests will be accepted at (816) 426-7530. Submit requests no later than ten (10) days from publication date of this notice. The NAIC code is 33121. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business
