Description

This is a Two Phase Source Selection Best Value Design Build Solicitation. The contract will provide the design and construction of two 3 story Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQs), at MCB Camp Lejeune, NC. One is located at Courthouse Bay and one is located in the French Creek Area. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and transportation to perform all work described in the specifications. One has 200 2+0 rooms, while the other has 160 2+0 rooms. Both have semi-private bathrooms and walk-in closets, interior finish, cable TV and telephone communications cabling, recreation and service areas, laundry, fire protection system, heating and air conditioning, utilities, technical operating manuals, exterior walkways, and incidental related work. Exterior support facilities include paved parking, security lighting, storm water infiltration system, and pedestrian walkway to waterfront. The contractors will be required to provide: Factor (1) Corporate Experience and Key Personnel for Construction and Design Team; (2) Past Performance for Construction and Design Team and Safety for Construction Team; (3) Small Business Subcontracting effort; (4) Technical Solutions-Building Design, Site Design, Sustainable Design and Proposed Schedule; and (5) Price. The maximum total award amount for this project is $25,500,000. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is 26 July 2001. This solicitation is available in electronic format only.
