Description

The U.S. Department of Education Contracts & Purchasing Operations intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Static Power Conversion Services, Inc. for factory certified support on the two each DP380E-208V, two each IntraPack Battery Pack Model IP3ER-96370-192-3-2D, and two each SL0901625 Service Bypass Panels located in the ROB Server room 4725 at 7th and D St, SW, Washington, DC 20202 . This support provides factory-certified support for the APC devices owned by the Department for the period of one year. The services required are termed ?Full Service Maintenance Agreement*?, and include the following: ? Contract Configuration: WAMP-T9 (2), WBMP-T5 (6), WPMV-T9 (2) ? Unlimited corrective UPS maintenance -- All parts, labor and travel included. ? Two (2) major Preventive Maintenance (PM) visits to be performed during normal working hours, (Monday -- Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, excluding holidays). ? On site emergency response with next day response time. ? 7/24 Emergency phone service, toll free 800 number. ? Two (2) battery preventive maintenances, to be performed at same time as electronics inspection. Static Power Conversion Services, Inc. is a unique source for the following reasons: ? Geographically closest full factory authorized APC service center. (Next closest is New York City, all other APC centers are ?Sales? centers.) ? Direct and quick access to internal APC certified maintenance engineers for current and future products. ? Ability to submit technical problems directly to APC. ? Seven by 24 service availability to the Department. ? Factory trained and annual certified technical support staff. ? On hand stock full line of factory parts Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. *****
