Description

The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Contracting Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to issue a sole source purchase order to JIL Information Systems, 1608 Spring Hill Road, Suite 300, Vienna, VA 22182. This requirement is for 8 2 day workshop course "Train the Trainer" to teach the instructor who will teach EMS material and Brady Course Material at Fort Sam Houston TX dates: 25-26 Jul 01, 8-9 Aug 01, 22-23 Aug 01, 12-13 Sep 01, 26-27 Sep 01, 17-18 Oct 01, 31 Oct 1 Nov 01, and 30 Nov 3 Dec 01. Jil Information Systems will develop a training workshop with specific EMS training that will coincide with the Brady Course material used to instruct the soldiers in preparation for the National Registry Emergency Medical Treatment Basic (NREMT-B) Certification testing. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 and Far part 12 for commercial items. This is a sole source procurement under commercial items and authority of FAR 6.302-1. Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 8299 and Small Business Size standard $5.0M. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation (RFQ) DADA10-01-T-0162 for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Note 22 applies
