- The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) proposes to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) No. NIMH-01-OC-0015 entitled "NIMH Clinical Trial Recruitment Services Support" under Full and Open Competition procedures using North American Industry Classification System 541690. NIMH seeks the support of a Contractor in carrying out key aspects of its broad and varied public affairs and information dissemination efforts. A three (3) year base contract with two (2), one (1) year options is contemplated. Plans are to award a contract by November 30, 2001. Over the next three (3) years, the Office of Communications and Public Liaison (OCPL, at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) wants to develop and implement a strategic plan to ensure maximum enrollment of participants into its extramural and intramural clinical trials. The sooner the NIMH can enroll eligible participants into clinical trials, the less it will cost the NIMH and the sooner there will be results to help the million of Americans suffering from the mental disorders being studied. The RFP may be accessed through http://www.fedbizopps.gov or the NIMH home page by using the following instructions: access the home page at http://www.nimh.gov, first select Funding Opportunities, then Contracts, then NIMH Requests for Proposals. Please note that the RFP for this requirement will include the Statement of Work, Deliverables, and Reporting Requirements, the Technical Evaluation Criteria, and proposal preparation instructions. All information required for the submission of an offeror will be contained in the electronic RFP package. Following proposal submission and the initial review process, offerors comprising the competitive range will be requested to provide additional documentation to the Contracting Officer.
