- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. M0068101T2040 is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23 and DAC 97-13. This procurement is unrestricted. The item is as follows: ITEM 0001 QTY 27 each, Single Pedestal Metal Desk with right extension. Salient Characteristics are as follows: 16 to 24-gauge steel construction. 66"Wx30"Dx29"H Oak/Putty desk with 1 1/8" thick desk tops and feature laminate surface, pull out center mounted keyboard drawer and standard 1 box, 1 file drawer. 40"Wx24"Dx29"H Oak/Putty return with 3 boxes drawers, accommodates a computer. ITEM 0002 QTY 31 each, Single Pedestal Metal Desk with left extension. Salient Characteristics are as follows: 16 to 24-gauge steel construction. 66"Wx30"Dx29"H Oak/Putty desk with 1 1/8" thick desk tops and feature laminate surface, pull out center mounted keyboard drawer and standard 1 box, 1 file drawer. 40"Wx24"Dx29"H Oak/Putty return with 3 boxes drawers, accommodates a computer. ITEM 0003 QTY 88 each, Desk Double Pedestal. Salient Characteristics are as follows: 16 to 24-gauge steel construction. Oak/Putty 54W"x24D", lockable center drawer, 1 1/8" thick desk tops and feature laminate surface, a pedestal with 1 box, & 1 file, and a pedestal with 3 box drawers . All responsible sources may submit an offer. All Contractors submitting a proposal are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors -- Commercial Items (MAR 2000), FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms & conditions -- Commercial Items (MAY 1999). Far 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for Para (b) apply to this acquisition: (22) (24) and under Para (e) the following apply: (1), (2), (3), and (4). The following DFAR Clauses apply to this acquisition: DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for Para (b): DFAR 252.225-7035 Buy American Act -- North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act -- Balance of Payments Program Certificate; DFAR 252.225-7036 North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act; DFAR 252.225-7008 Supplies To Be Accorded Duty-Free Entry; DFAR 252.225-7037 Duty-Free Entry -- NAFTA County End Products and Supplies; DFAR 252.232-7009 Payment by Electronics Funds Transfer. Proposals are solicited FOB Destination to Camp Pendleton, CA. Delivery is required for all items on or before 27 August 2001. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Award will be on an all or none. Technical offers shall be submitted no later than 23 July 2001 to Sgt McKnight or Jeannette Gibbs via fax or mail. Technical offers can be sent via US Postal Service to Regional Contracting Offices, P. O. Box 1609, Oceanside, Ca. 92051-1609 Attn: Sgt McKnight or Jeannette Gibbs. If offer is to be sent via Federal Express, address should read Regional Contracting Division, Bldg. 22180, MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. 92055, Attn: Sgt McKnight or Jeannette Gibbs. Faxed offer should be addressed to Sgt McKnight or Jeannette Gibbs 760-725-8445/4346, and clearly state the solicitation number on the first page to ensure receipt. Offerors bear the burden of ensuring that all pages of the quote reach the designated office before the deadline specified in the solicitation. Technical offers shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items (the best way to complete this certification is to download the FAR Clauses (Volume II) at http://www.arnet.gov/far, print out the clause Far 52.212-3, and fill in the appropriate blanks). Do not submit pricing with your technical offer. Pricing will be determined utilizing a REVERSE AUCTION. All technically acceptable offerors may participate in the reverse auction. The reverse auction will take place on 25 July 2001 @ 1400 EST. Award is anticipated on 26 July 2001. Offers, including price, are binding for 30 days after submission and written acceptance of an offer by the government will result in a contract.
