Description

The contractor shall provide a High performance Quantum Well Infrared Photodetector (QWIP) Focal Plane Array (FPA) based termal imaging camera system operating in the Long Wave Infrared Region (LWIR) of the electro-magnetic spectrum. The Army Research intends to negotiate with Flir Systems AB, Danderyd, Sweden on a non-competitve basis. This is for The Foreign Comparative Test (FCT) program. The authority and policy of the FCT program stems from Title 10 U.S. Code Section 2350(g) and DODD 5000.1 and 5000.2R. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this porposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotes may be faxed to (410) 278-6972.
