Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Hitachi Instruments, Inc to acquire (1) MKT-8800 AAA for Protein Hydrolyzates, (2) 855-0057 l-880-AAA for Protein Hydrolyzates with PH Standard, Standard Analysis Column, Standard Ammonia column, Reaction column,etc, (3) COMP-MON19 Dell Optiplex 600, (4) MKT-0069 Epson Stylus Color Printer, (4) ANO-8842 Amino Acid Standard Sample for Protein Hydrolyzates, (5) AN)-8850 Ninhydrin 2-Pack, (6) MKT-8840 AAA Flouresence Analysis Kit, (7) ANO-8811-14 Buffer 1-4 for Protein Hydrolyzate Mode, (8) 855-3506 AAA PH Standard Column, (9) 855-3530 AAA Reaction Column 4.6 x 40, (10)ANO-2312 2.0 ml Snap-It Vails, Caps and Septa, (11) ANO-2313 300 ul (Glass) inserts, and (12) Training. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 5047 and the NAICS Code is 421450. The equipment/supplies are being procured under FAR Part 12.6 Streamline Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Electronic Funds Transfer, and 52.212-5 Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirement shall submit written quotations by mail or fax 301/827-7039. Quotes shall be submitted by July 24, 2001, 4:00PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time. Evaluation/Award will be based on the technically acceptable quote that offers the best value to the government.
