- Description
- The U. S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC) intends to issue a sole source contract to Intertek Laboratories, Sterling, NJ 07980 for the fabrication of Apache helicopter based Ballistic Firing Test Set (ABFTS). This test set will use the Apache helicopter based Rocket Management System called the Pylon Interface Unit (PIU) for ground firing of 2.75 inch rockets. This test set will be compatible with the current cabling system in the field. The building of ABFTS will require the ability to build the PIU electronic boxes into a field configured system. Note 22 and 26 apply.
