Description
Through an on-line reverse auction the United States Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic intends to issue a two year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for 13 each Oily Water Separators (OWS), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about July 23, 2001, via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ number is DTCG80-01-Q-3FAJ75. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps system for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. This is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 333319, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Oily Water Separators will be ordered by delivery order and delivered F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Command, Baltimore, MD. Minimum quantity is one (1) each, maximum quantity is thirteen (13) each. The initial quantity shall be delivered within 90 days after contract award. Provide notice of intent to participate in the auction, to the point of contact below, no later than July 30, 2001. A pre-proposal meeting is tentatively scheduled on board USCGC HARRIET LANE, Portsmouth, VA on Thursday August 2, 2001. Technical proposals are due by August 16, 2001. Do not include price with your technical proposal. Price quotes will be accepted during the on-line reverse auction. The government will award to the responsible offeror whose conformance to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The reverse auction is tentatively scheduled for August 30, 2001. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
