Description

Contractor is responsible for preparation, protection, containment, and sandblasting of the overhead of the starboard aircastle, frames 86-117, IAW MLC Atlantic Specification 63000N_STD. The work day will end at 5:00pm each day for this line item, by which time the contractor will have cleaned the affected area, disposed of the blast grit and paint chips, and have cleaned the bare metal areas with denatured alcohol. Contractor is to apply a primer coat only to the affected area. Work is to be completed at the end of each working day for the area that has been cleaned that day. All work, and the coating applied, will comply with MLC Atlantic Specification 63000N_STD. All work is to be performed during the period of 4Aug01 thru 7Sep01, with the work being completed NLT 7Sep01. Actual dates are to be worked out between the contractor and the COTR.
