Description

Defense Supply Service-Washington (DSS-W) intends to negotiate a sole source commercial item contract with W. Colston Leigh, Inc., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 to provide the services of Dr. James Crupi to conduct training sessions on personal and organizational change during the period of 17 July 2001 through 1 April 2002. Previous market research indicates that Dr. Crupi meets all of the Army's qualifications to perform the services as follows: 1) Must be highly qualified and nationally recognized expert on leading and managing change in complex organizations, possess credible academic and professional credentials in that regard, must have experience in training large executive-level audiences, and must be an excellent speaker and hands-on trainer. 2) Must have prior Army leadership experience, and an in-depth understanding of the Chief of Staff of the Army's priorities, the Army Vision, and the Army Transformation. 3) Must have an in-depth knowledge of Army leader development issues, policies, programs and culture. 4) Must have substantial experience designing, evaluating, or advising on leader development programs in such organizations -- for example, Fortune 100 corporations with global business. All interested sources must submit capability statements on or before close of business on 13 July 2001 via email or fax to Donna Moran. These capability statements will be used to determine if competition exists and is at the sole discretion of the Government to open competition. No solicitation package exists. See Note 22.
