Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Region 6, Olympic National Forest, is issuing a request for quotation to complete an aerial fertilization project located on the Hood Canal Ranger District, Hoodsport, WA. This project consists of helicopter application of contractor supplied forestry grade prilled urea (46-0-0) fertilizer. The fertilizer will be applied at the rate of 440 pounds per acre across 1794 acres. Start work date is on or about October 1, 2001, with 15 days to complete the contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 115310, with a size standard of $5.0MM. This solicitation will be advertised as a Commercial Items Request for Quote in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures and will be 100% set-aside for small businesses. The Service Contract Act applies to this acquisition. Solicitation #R6-OLY-1-22-O will be issued on or about July 30, 2001, with quotes due August 15, 2001.
