Description

The Coastal Systems Station (CSS), Panama City, Florida intends to issue a sole source requirement to Hewlett-Packard for the acquisition of the following: 1) four each HP 753i single board computers, 2) four each HP 743i mounting kits, and 3) four each 64 ram cards. This equipment will be used as part of the Tactical Control System (TCS) at CSS. The HP 743i single board computer is one of the primary processing units in the TCS. The software developed for the TCS was written exclusively for a HP 743i-operating platform. Using a single board computer from any other manufacturer would necessitate rewriting the TCS software. Neither time nor the budget will allow this. Additionally, this TCS must be fully compatible with TCS units maintained at other installations. Therefore, the HP 743i is the only model that meets this requirement. NAICS code is 33411. Note 22 apply.
