- Description
- Non-personal services to perform Air Sparging/Soil Vapor Extraction (AS/SVE) at POL site, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Work includes installation and development of remediation wells for SVE and AS; installation of mechanical wellhead connections at remediation wells and conveyance piping for SVE and AS; mechanically modifying existing trailer mounted remediation system and controls; electrically modifying existing trailer mounted remediation system; start-up/shakedown of the remediation system to verify performance; operations, maintenance, and monitoring of the remediation system performance, equipment, and wells; weekly and annual summary progress reports; soil sampling; and remediation well abandonment. Period of performance will be approximately 20 months from September 2001 through April 2003. The proposed procurement is set aside 100% for small businesses under NAICS 562910, Environmental Remediation Services with a corresponding small business size standard of 500 employees. The procurement will be subject to the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13. The RFQ will be available electronically at the Army Single Face to Industry Business Opportunities Page http://abop.monmouth.army.mil on or about 24 July 2001. Telephonic, written, faxed, or electronic requests for hard copies of solicitation documents will be denied. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation, associated documents, and solicitation amendments; contractors will not be directly notified of solicitation amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be firm-fixed-price, awarded to the responsible respondent whose quote is most advantageous to the Government. Numbered Note 1 applies.
