Description

Contractor to provide all services necessary for the identification, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with all applicable local, state, and Federal laws and regulations, including, but not limited to the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA). Services shall include all necessary personnel, labor, transportation, packaging, detailed analysis (where required for disposal), equipment and reports in addition to proper disposal. Contractor shall be permitted transporter for hazardous and solid waste. Contractor shall take samples and test any unknown item to characterize and profile for each waste stream. The period of performance is from 1 October 2001, or date of award if subsequent thereto, through 30 September 2002 plus four (4) one (1) year option periods. The bid opening date of 24 August 2001 is approximately only. This procurement is being solicited unrestricted. This solicitation is being issued subject to the availability of funds. Subsequent award will be a firm fixed price requirements contract.
