Description

This notice announces a Competitive Action RESTRICTED to SBA Section 8(a) Certified/designated Contractors. The USDA Forest Service Region 1, intends to acquire non-personal professional services in support of natural resources and land management activities within the States of Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Department of the Interior agencies within the States of Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, or South Dakota will be authorized to place task orders under any resulting contracts. Task Orders may include NEPA related projects, and other environmental and technical sciences related to ecosystem management. Multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contracts will be awarded with a base year plus two option years. Solicitation No. R1-01-24 will be issued as a Request for Proposals. The resultant contracts will be firm fixed-price contracts. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-21. The Solicitation RFP R1-01-24 is RESTRICTED to SBA Section 8(a) contractors only as this solicitation represents the 8(a) portion referenced in a previous unrestricted CBD announcement R1-01-22. Task Orders awarded as a result of these contracts will be competed amongst a number of contractors, with preference for 8(a) contractors in accordance with FAR. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 541620 and 541690. Solicitation will be available approximately July 27, 2001, with proposals due approximately August 30, 2001. Final dates will be listed in the solicitation package and the dates may change based on availability date of the solicitation package.
