- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Delta Research Company of Chicago, Illinois. This requirement requires economic analyses in support of the Advanced Technology Program (ATP). Specifically, Delta Research will continue progress on case studies which identify the economic benefits of ATP-funded projects. Delta Research is uniquely qualified to perform the required analyses because of its economic expertise and its past involvement in the planning and coordination of the subject case study. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed priced purchase order. The estimated award date of this purchase order is July 9, 2001. The required period of performance is from the effective date of purchase order award (FOB Destination -- Gaithersburg, MD) through one (1) year thereafter. . The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed priced purchase order. The proposed requirement is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all quotations received by July 9 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) package is not available.
