Description

This requirement is for three bundled projects for improvements to the water system at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Hite Marina and Halls Crossing Marina, Lake Powell, Utah. The Hite Marina work consists of installation of a new 110 GPM water treatment plant, a floating water intake structure, 4400 linear feet of raw water line, 3400 linear feet of water transmission line, 5600 linear feet of water distribution line, 3200 linear feet of backwash-irrigation line, 5800 feet of telemetry conduit, a fire suppression system for a 500 gallon propane tank, and related appurtenances. Pipe diameters range from two to eight inches. The Halls Crossing water transmission line project is the installation of 4100 linear feet of water transmission line, telemetry line, telemetry equipment, chlorination equipment, and related appurtenances. This acquisition is a total set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small business concerns (see numbered note 27).
