Description

The U.S. Postal Service, Columbia Facilities Service Office, will issue Solicitation #232098-01-A-0027 on or about July 10, 2001 for the following project: Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract for Asbestos Abatement and Lead Paint Abatement at various Postal Owned & Leased facilities located in the counties of the Pittsburgh PA District; Allegheny, Bradford, Carborn, Fayette, Greene, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Susuehanna, Washington, Wayne & Wymoning. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Contractors must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as of the date of issue in environmental abatement work. Contractors must also possess the capabilities of working at least three to five jobs at the same time. The Contracting Officer in accordance with the Unit Price Schedule and Specifications will issue specific Work Orders/s. One or more "Works Orders" will be issued totaling not neither less than $10,000 nor more than $250,000 during a two (2) year period of the contract. The initial limit of $250,000 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to the maximum of $3,000,000. The contractor will not be required to perform work under any work order where the value of work in any one building is less than $500.00. Offerors will be required to submit one (1)"Multiplier" to be applied to the various Unit Prices established in teh "Unit Price Schedule". The multiplier must contain the Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. Packages will be available on or about July 10, 2001, at a cost of $75.00 per set, Non-refundable, referencing Solicitation #232098-01A-0027.
