Description

FISC Norfolk Det. Phila. is providing a DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK for industry comment. The Chief of Naval Education and Training, through the Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC), Pensacola, FL, has a requirement to provide sailors with the option of improving their basic academic competencies. The requirement encompasses delivery of academic skills courses by Instructor led classes, contractor furnished Learning Centers, Partnered Learning Centers, Mobile Learning Centers, and Web Enabled Instruction. A fixed priced, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated, with separate Contract Line Items for pricing each of the delivery methods. A one year contract (base year), with four, one year options is anticipated. Contract performance shall commence in 2002. The draft Statement of Work is issued in order to elicit industry questions concerning the requirement. This draft will be posted at http://www.neco.navy.mil, for a period of three weeks, during which period industry comments and questions are invited. Subsequent to this period, a new synopsis and the formal RFP will be issued. The formal RFP will require the submission of technical and cost proposals, and will be made available at the same web site as cited above. The applicable NAICSW code is 611310. All responsible sources are asked to review this draft and submit comments and questions which will be considered by FISC Det. Phila.
