Description

The scope of work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipnment, and transportation necessary to perform all operations in connection with on call maintenance and repair for ten (10) Governair Corporation (Self Contained and Split System), 20 ton rooftop air conditioner units, model number TL20-2024, one Liebert Unit in the computer room, and four Scotsman Ice Machines, models number ND550AE-1B located at DCMA Atlanta, 805 Walker Street, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30060-2789. Contractor shall perform weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual preventative maintenance. Weekly maintenance includes checking fan belts for tightness and ensuring sheaves are lined up. Monthly maintenance includes: (1) Clean filters or replace, (2) Check belts -- adjust or replace, (3) Check for possible stoppage of condensation drain line, (4) Check for obstructed or dirty condenser coils, (5) check for shortage of R-22, (6) Check compressor crankcase heaters, (7) Check operation of all controls. Semi-annual maintenance includes: (1) Check all starter and contacts and (2) grease all bearings. Annual maintenance includes cleaning condenser coils. The period of performance will be for base year and four (4) one-year option years. Solicitation package will be available on 8/5/01 at no charge.
