Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) #043212, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC #97-27. The solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 421490 and the business Size Standard is 100 employees. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price solicitation. The Government intends to acquire competitive price on the following item and to include installation, warranty, maintenance, training for one individual, and shipping costs: a complete Luminex system to include; Luminex 100TM -- a compact flow analysis system consisting of a flow analyzer and a controller, the analyzer integrates lasers, optics, fluidics, and advanced signal processing, the controller integrates the Luminex 100 software and communications interface to the analyzer; Luminex SD sheath delivery system -- provides continuous flow of sheath fluid for up to 48 hours of operations by connecting directly to the 20 liter sheath container; Luminex 100TM XY- Platform -- a microplate interface for the Luminex100. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, if received timely, will be considered by the agency. Award to be made within one (1) week after closing.
