DESCRIPTION: ARMOR PLATE, TRANSPARENT. NSN 2540-01-114-7469. RPC01141001005. Restricted source item made in accordance with Army (19207) drawing number 12299117, Revision F, Part Number 12299117-1. Only contractors currently pre-approved for the First Article Test requirements will be considered. The only current pre-approved source is Sierracin/Sylmar Corp. (CAGE 71355). Quantity of 239 each is to be delivered within 60 days after date of award to Stockton, CA (136 each) and to New Cumberland, PA (103 each). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. See Note 26. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of July 27, 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. Proposed procurement contains a 100% option for increased quantities. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
