Description

SIC 1542/NAICS 235420 Provide all material, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the work specified in this solicitation. Work will be accomplished in a building with courtrooms under conditions where added requirements will be necessary for noise and environment limiting requirements and factors. Work will involve some lead-based paint, interior woodwork, ornamental metal, floor tile, historical plastering and painting, and some minor electrical work at the U. S. Federal Building/Courthouse in Lawton, Oklahoma. A list of known plasterers will be included in the specification package, although it is still the prime contractor's responsibility to check for qualification and acceptability as experienced. Estimated cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation No. GS-07P-01-UDC-5022, Project ROK07394. This project is being procured as a Small Business Set-Aside resulting in a Firm, Fixed-Price Contract requiring the contractor and/or his subcontractors to furnish a minimum of three references each. Some references must attest to the prime contractor or his subcontractors have experience with plaster restoration and their willingness to use the proposer again on future projects. The solicitation will be available on the internet for downloading, without drawings, by July 13, 2001. If a contractor does download the specifications, please notify Steven F. Clark, Contracting Officer. He is compiling a list of planholders and must know who are interested in this project, in case amendments are issued.=20
