Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, is seeking sources capable of providing a variety of construction services, including design/build, under Multiple Award Construction Contracts (MATOC). Projects will be within the jurisdiction of the North Atlantic Division (NAD), within the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Contracts may be awarded to cover all or portions of the NAD area of responsibility. It is anticipated that three contracts will be awarded for each geographic region. Under the MATOC, requirements are developed, Requests for Proposals are issued on a competitive or sole source basis, and task orders are awarded. Government generated specifications may range from a complete design to a narrative description of the work to be performed. Award of individual competitive task orders will be based on any one of the following methods: lowest cost; best value; lowest priced technically acceptable offer; or, best technical solution. Each contract is expected to have an annual ordering limit of $10,000,000. Contracts will be awarded for a base year with options for two additional years. In order to effectively structure any resulting solicitation and maximize the participation of small and small disadvantaged business concerns, ALL INTERESTED FIRMS (both large and small) are requested to complete and submit the questionnaire at http://www.nao.usace.army.mil/Ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp no later than 24 July 2001.
