Description
This project is for the reconstruction of the existing Trimmer Heliport on the Kings River Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest. Work consists of the removal of the existing concrete helicopter pads, asphalt pavement, electrical wiring, geogrid cells, lawn and watering system. Construction work consists of construction staking, excavation, importing select top soil material, two concrete helicopter pads, sprinkler system, electrical conduit, lights, receiver/controller, hose bibs, fire hydrant, hot bituminous pavement, striping and symbols, placement of lawn sod and quality control inspection. Price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00, contract time is 120 calendar days, estimated start work date is October 31, 2001, charge for plans and specifications is $25.00, made payable to USDA Forest Service.
