Description

The U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center Washington is seeking sources for conference support services for the DISC4 Information Assurance Office. That office will conduct up to 7 training workshops in fiscal year 2002. The workshops provide briefings to audiences of IA professionals (usually 150-200 attendees). Each workshop will run 3 days. If a location requires more in depth sessions an additional day may be added. The locations under consideration for next fiscal year are: Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Buchanan, PR, Fort Huachuca, AZ, Fort Sam Houston, TX, Seoul Korea, West Point, NY, Fort Lewis, Washington, Ft Belvoir, VA and Carlisle Bks, PA. Workshops will be held either on the installation (pending availability of space) or at the closest hotel/conference facility within local per diem rates. In addition there may be IA conferences for Program Managers (3-4 days). The support services required include the following: Host a website to provide for registration of attendees. Provide registration information to DISC4 in the form of a database, with weekly updates. Provide suggestions for workshop locations (hotels, conference facilities on Army installations, etc.) Booking blocks of rooms for attendees and providing a booking number for attendees to use when they call in for a room. On-site registration of attendees on day one of the workshop (an hour before the training starts). Production of name badges. Arranging for a conference room and a separate room for vendor displays. Arranging an Information Technology and Information Assurance Vendor show (either one or two days during workshop). Posting of maps to the workshop location (on-line). Coordinate advertising the IT show at workshop site. This procurement will be considered for Small Disadvantages Business, 8a, or other setaside. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
