Description

Provide Healthcare Resources in accordance with Public Law 104-262 and 38 U.S. C. 8153. Contractor agrees to provide two .5 FTE one Junior Physicist/Dosimetrist and one Senior (PhD. or Master Degree), certified in American Board of Radiation Oncology Physics to perform the requirements of this contract. Medical Physicists shall provide full and complete physics coverage for the Radiotherapy Service, VA Medical Center (VAMC), 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH. The coverage shall include, but not be limited to the "Professional Physics Service Schedule". Coverage also includes adequate assistance in the total management of the patient. The personnel providing this coverage will also: (1) be available for consultation and didactic discussions (2) provide education training program for Radiotherapy personnel and (3) may be called in outside regular work hours to provide professional services as needed at no additional cost. The VAMC will use the following evaluation factors as they are defined in the solicitation. Past Performance, Education, Qualificatins/Experience, Hours, and Cost. Each Offeror must submit a separate price offer and submit a techincal proposal that pertains to it's capability and past performance. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAISC) is 621111/$7.5 million applies. This is an unrestricted commercial item procurement. The solicitation will be available on July 3, 2001. The solicitation due date is July 20, 2001, by 4:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
