Description

This action originally publicized on June 25, 2001 is hereby amended to remove from the solicitation the request for contractor to arrange by an appointment the safe transport of all freezers and their contents from the incumbent's facility to the awardee location. The request should be excluded from your quote. The following is additional information -- general specifications and power requirements for all freezers and storage space (cold room): Harris Upright Freezers purchased by the Government in 1990 (Model HLT-21V-85)manufacturer's specification: Inventory capacity -- 25 total rack, 4,000 vials capacity, interior dimensions: 28.5" (72.4)x24.25"(61.6)x50.5" (128.2), exterior dimensions: 38.5"(98)x34.75"(88.3)x79.5"(201.9), weight lbs/kg: 1065/484, electrical and refrigeration: Rated Amps.208V, AC 60 HZ30, refrigeration -- 2 @ 1 HP. Within the past 12 months, two (2) preventative maintenance inspections have been completed on 11 freezers currently in use. Over the past 12 months no necessary repairs have been performed on the 11 freezers. The required refrigeration specification for the cold room: Two 3 phase 230 volt 2 horsepower low temperature outdoor condensing units, 404A refrigerant, and two low profile evaporators with thermostat and expansion valve. Interior cubic storage space: 1598 cubic feet. The solicitation due date is changed from on or about July 11, 2001 to on or about July 13, 2001 no later than 3:00 p.m.
