Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, WESTHEM Computer Technology Division, Multisite Contracts/Midwest Area Command Branch (DITCO-DTS42), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Symantec Corporation, 2821 Soulier St., Pittsburgh, PA 15227 for the acquisition of software license renewal for proprietary products. This software product is currently installed on equipment located at Defense Enterprise Computing Centers (DECCs) Columbus, Mechanicsburg, Ogden, Oklahoma City, and St. Louis. The period of performance is from 1 Oct 2001 to 30 Sep 2002. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements.
