Description

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires translation services. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) on behalf of the FMCSA intends to set up multiple commercial services indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts for these services under Part 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. These services may include translation of technical documents as well as simultaneous Spanish to American English and simultaneous American English to Spanish. Awards will be made to the responsible offeror who offer conforming to the Statement of Work and evaluation criteria is most advantageous to the Government. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and the NACIS code is 541930 and the small business size standard is $5 million annual average gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years. The solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) under FebBizOpps at www.eps.gov. Choose the "EPS for Vendors" option followed by selection of the DOT/FHWA section. The solicitation and related documents will be posted under RFQ number DTFH61-01-R-00100. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE, OR E-MAIL REQUESTS will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by e-mail. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the EPS (FebBizOpps) website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer. Offers are due August 6, 2001. Anticipated Award date is September 4, 2001.=20
