Description

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This announcement constitutes a formal Request for Proposal. The Government will not pay for information received and is not committed to an award as a result thereof. The 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB IL, is seeking proposals from contractors who are interested in establishing a Nutritional Shake/Juice Bar at the Fitness Center on Scott AFB IL. To receive award, a contractor must be successfully registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Further, the contractor must not appear on the List of Parties Excluded from Federal Procurement and Nonprocurement Programs. For planning purposes, the number of potential customers who utilize the Scott AFB Fitness Center is as follows: On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 1200 potential customers per day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, 950 potential customers per day. Currently, a construction project is being performed to complete the plumbing and flooring requirements for the subject Nutrition/Fitness Bar. The construction project's tentative completion dates for the subject work are 2 and 21 Aug 01, respectively. The offeror must complete construction and/or installation of the Nutrition/Fitness Bar by no later than 31 Aug 01 and start service at 0600 on 04 Sep 01. Three references, a listing of product items and bid may be sent to the 375 CONS points of contact listed below via facsimile or email by 4:00 CST, 25 Jul 01. Submission of a bid package does not commit the Government to an acquisition. Further, the Government incurs no cost that may result from bid preparation, nor does submission of a bid guarantee award. =20
