Description

This is a combined synposis/solicitation for commerical items or services prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued for Request for Quotation (RFQ No. NIA-01-AW269BPMS). The solicitation clause and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-6. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this acquisition is 2819. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 325188. NIH, National Institute on Aging, Gerontology Research Center intends to purchase (180mci) Arachidonate Acid {3h}. The Radiochemical Purity must be about 97%;the Specific Activity of 180-200ci/mmol. Vendor must be able to deliver in units of 5-10mci upon request. Vendor will be responsible for storage and purity of isotope. This isotope is needed for tracer infusion in animals to measure arachidonate turnover at the NIH, NIA, BPMS, Building 10, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland. An award will be made at the closing date on 07/13/01, 5:00 PM Eastern Time to the above address.
