Description

The Overton Brooks VAMC is contemplating an Open Market Consignment Agreement for inplantable Intraocular Lenses of various types and a wide range IOL power sizes. NAICS 339113. Currently we are utilizing a wide range of IOL's from Allergan Surgical. In addition we anticipate to use surgical equipment equal to the Allergan Phacoemulisification System. The selected firm is expected to provide the surgical equipment and maintain it for the term of the agreement. The estimated annual number of implants is from 250-300 cases. Term: The agreement is expected to continue from the date of award plus four one year options. Interested firms may provide literature documenting the advantages and disadvantages of their product. Particularly we are interested in Acrylic lenses rather than silicone.
