Description

RFP-797-NC-01-0022 for Medical Cylinder Gases will include the estimated requirements for VA and other government healthcare facilities in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Requirements will vary by facility, and will include (but are not limited to) medical gases such as Medical Oxygen USP, Carbon Dioxide USP, Nitrogen NF, Nitrous Oxide, Medical Air, Helium, Lung Diffusion Gas, and other specialty gases. Prospective offerors are invited to submit proposals for any or all of the government healthcare facilities listed in the solicitation. All medical gases must meet USP specifications and suppliers must follow FDA's CGMP regulations. The base contract period will be January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002 with 4 option years. The solicitation may be downloaded on or after the issue date of 8/1/01 at the VA web site http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. If downloading the solicitation, please e-mail the contracting officer with your name and e-mail address so that you can be notified of any subsequent amendments to the solicitation. The solicitation closing date will be 9/6/01, 3:30 p.m. CST. Please note that a hard copy of the solicitation will NOT be provided unless a written request is forwarded to the contracting office. Hard copies will be mailed on the issue date of 8/1/01.
