Description

The Flathead National Forest is advertising a Pre-Solicitation Prospectus for 7.6 miles of construction and reconstruction trail work on the Spotted Bear Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. The project and access trails to the project are located within the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area; therefore, no motorized or mechanized equipment, including mountain bikes, will be allowed. Solicitation is scheduled to be issued this winter or early next spring (pending availability of funds). A Prebid Tour is not scheduled; however, prospective offerors are encouraged to visit the project on their own prior to winter conditions closing the area. Preliminary maps, trail logs, specifications, and general information of the project are available from the Flathead National Forest.
