Description

The Bureau of Land Management, Eagle Lake Field Office is requesting 1,350 lbs of Antelope Bitterbrush seed, 200 lbs of Mountain Mahogany seed. Seeds shall be collected from the portion of the Eagle Lake Field Office Area within 25 miles radius of the center of the Willow Fire which is located northeast of Susanville, CA. Collection of seed will be from two native shrub species: Antelope bitterbursh (Purshia tridentata) and Mountain Mahogany (Cercocarpus ledifolius). Seed price and weight will be calculated on a PLS (pure live seed) basis. Percent PLS calculation formula is -- Purity X total viable (TV) (TV=Germination+Dormant)=%PLS.
