Description

UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixewd Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for 100% Cotton Yarn. The period of performance shall be for One (1) Base Year and One (1) Option Year if exercised. Specifications shall be as follows: Line 0001 -- YRN0014, Yarn, SCBH, KPOE, 100% Cotton, Natural, 7/2, 2-Ply, No wax, Minimum break 410 lbs, 4.9 warp twist, 285 grains per skein, single yarn (z) twist ply. Line Item 0002 -- YRN0015, Yarn, KPOE, 100% Cotton, Natural, 4.5/1, Natural, KPOE, No wax, Minimum break 390 lbs, warp twist 222 grains per skein. Line Item 0003 -- YRN0020, Yarn, 100% Cotton, Natural, 9.5/1, KPOE, No wax, Minimum break 200 lbs, 4.9 warp twist, 105 grains per skein. The Guaranteed Minimum Amount: 35,000 LBS for Line Items 0001-0003 and 35,000 LBS for each line item which represent the option year if exercised. The Guaranteed Maximum Amount: 250,000 LBS for Line Items 0001 & 0002, and 1,680,000 LBS for Line Item 0003. Delivery is FOB Destination USP Terre Haute, IN. Delivery acceptance is 30 Days after receipt of each delivery order. This requirement is domestic only and may result in a multiple award. Product Samples are required. The award will be based on the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors are: price, past performance, and specifications. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about July 11, 2001.
