Description

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. NASA/GSFC plans to acquire the following items from MRO Software, Inc. as they are the originator of this product and the only provider of these items. The Authority is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. 1. 1-Year Renewal of Maximo Software Maintenance Agreement for Maximo ASCP. Interested organizations have 21 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/ capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after 21 days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This notice is a sole source synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice and will not be considered. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
