Description

The order shall consist of two laptop computers. Each will consist of: 1) an Inspiron 8000, PIII 900, 14" Super XGA+(220-2947 base unit; 2) 512 MB, SDRAM, 2DIMM, Inspiron 8000 factory installed (311-4074) memory; 3) a 16MB, M4, Latitude/Inspiron (320-0267) video card; 4) a 20GB9.5MM Inspiron 8000 factory installed (340-2727) hard drive; 5) an Inspiron (340-8153) Inspiron light floppy disk drive; 6) a Dell Application Backup CD factory installed operating system ((313-7222); 7) Windows 2000 SP1 English (420-2296) operating system; 8) a Dell Solution Center, VS 3.1 Inspiron, WW(412-2901) operating system. 9) a Xircom 10/100 Ethernet II PC Card factory installed (430-2082); 10) a 56K Internal Inspiron 8000 Notebook modem (313-1471); 11) an 8X DVD/SW Inspiron 8000 factory installed (313-1471) CD-ROM or DVD-ROM; 12) Intervideo Software DVD Solution (313) 1483) controller option; 13) a dual compartment (310-0401) nylon carrying case; 14) a factory installed Advanced Port Replicator with Ethernet 13700/3800/4000/8000; 15) Type 3 Contract -- Next Business Day Parts Labor On-Site Response Initial Year (950-1090); 16) Type 3 Contract -- Next Business Day Parts Labor On-Site Response 2YR Extended (950-1092); 17) factory installed LI-ION secondary primary battery 59WHR Inspiron 8000; 18) READYWARE INSTALLATION FEE (365-1234); 19) Office Pro 2000 Win32 EnglishMVL Federal Install Only 269-02409 (416-7809); and 20) Dept. of Commerce BPA#45AANA70916 (460-3030). The offered laptops must be compliant with 36 CFR part 1194.21 Software Application and Operating Systems, 36CFR part 1194.22 Web-Based Intranet and Internet Information Application, 36CFR part 1194.23 Telecommunication Products, 36CFR part 1194.24 Video and Multimedia Products, and 36CFR part 1194.26 Desktop and Portable Computers. The offeror must explain how the laptop complies with each standard of the above stated standards.
