Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a Request For Quotes(RFQ). Submit offers on RFQ1011. This solicitation and its incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 97-26. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is not a small business set-aside, under North American Industry Classification System Code Number 333314. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and The Vaccine Research Center is issuing a request for quotations (RFQ1011) for the procuring of KS-Elispot System to attach to a Axioplan Microscope. The KS-Elispot System is to include the following components. (1) A DXC-970MD Video Camerea. (2) CMAD2 Power Supply F/DXC-970-151. (3) SME-CVRGB/2 2MM F/DXC Camera. (4) VID Zoom Adapter 0.5-2X " ENG. (5) Scanner Stage F/AX-Plan2, Elispot. (6) MCP4 3 Axis. (7) Joystick F/MCP3/4 with Cable. (8) Motor Driver Cable MCP/SC. Stage. (9) Step Focus Motor Adapter. (10) TEKGRAF IDE Imaging Workstation. (11) Samsung Syncmaster 170Monitor MP LCD. (12) PVM14N6U 14" Color Monitor RGB/YC. (13) KS-Elispot Software Rel.3.0. (14) KS-Elispot Equipemnt Training 2Days. The KS-Elispot System shall have the following capabilities of performing; (a) Fast and highly reproducible evaluation of 96-well micro-plates used in Elispot Assays. (b) Capable of handling all the work stages from Image Acquisition. (c) Spot Recognition and differentiation from incorrect objects. (d) Display of results. (e) Printout and data transmission. (f) Easy to use programs that runs on windows 98/nt. (g) Fully automated KS-Elsipot that works with all microplates and all elispot kits. (h) Y2K compliant. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations provisions and clauses that apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications; FAR 52.212-4 Contractor Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items. Offerors shall include with their offer a completed copy of provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The Government intends to make a Best Value Buy with the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the government.
