Description

This is a solicitation/synopsis for a non-commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0234 applies and is issued as a request for Quotation (RFQ). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC) has a requirement for a panel top (drawing 5854672 Rev B) that is used as the lid for M913 shipment and storage container. The Government requires 420 each of these panel tops. The panel top is a plywood core (marine grade) of inch thick plywood that is 82.75 inches long and 53.25 inches wide. This panel is covered on one side with a fiberglass overlay that contains not less than 57 grams of 18 oz. Woven roving fiberglass set in a polyester family of resins meeting the requirements of Mil-R-7575 Grade A, Class D, Form A. The other side of the plywood (interior) and all edges shall be covered with the thermoset polyester resin. The panel's edges shall be cut for a 1.38 inch by 0.12 inch slot plus 45 degree chamfer. The Small Business Set-aside has been dissolved. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25 and DCN 20001025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 32192. Evaluation for the award will be based on past performance and price. List performance on your five most recently completed Federal Government contracts (not to exceed three years since completion) for like or similar items under this quote. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, In 47522 within 120 days after award of order. Final inspection will be NSWC Crane. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A firm Fixed-Price Purchase Order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
