Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE contract with Mistral Security Inc, 7910 Woodmont Avenue Suite 1070, Bethesda, MD 20814. Line Item One (1) Quantity 2 each, Explosive Containment System, Model GOLAN-10, which is an upright cylindrical vessel 90" in diameter and 118" high and weight of 13,200 pounds. Door opening of 19.6" by 37.4" approximately 30" from the ground. Interior hinged door with a security latching mechanism. Storage capacity of 22 pounds TNT or equivalent, 42 cu. Ft. interior storage space. Note: This system is approved by the Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board for use as standard magazines. Mistral Security Inc. is the only source that can provide the Model GOLAN-10 explosive containment system as the GOLAN-10 is proprietary and only available through Mistral Security Inc. No other sources will be considered. Requests for solicitation will not be honored. Notice is being made to satisfy requirements for FAR Part 5 only. Public solicitation will not be issued.
