Description

The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Full and Open Competition proposals for the fabrication of Safety-Arming Device Assembly MK 75 Mod 1 and related assemblies. Initial quantities are: 9 pre-production First Article units of the MK 75 Mod 1, between 170 and 230 production units of the MK 75 Mod 1, 60 Safety-Arming Device Dummy MK 84 Mod 0, and between 230 and 290 Shipping and Storage Container, Safety-Arming Device MK 75 Type. An additional 6 Safety-Arming Device Assembly MK 75 Mod 1 will be required for destructive production lot acceptance testing. These assemblies are precision-machined items with explosive load. Explosive components will be government furnished. Required delivery date is for First Article units is 180 days after award of the contract. Delivery of the first production units will be 540 days after contract award. Options will be included for: between 25 and 150 each of Knob and Tag Assembly, Cable Assembly Kit, and Safety Pin Assembly; between 170 and 230 additional Safety-Arming Device Assembly MK 75 Mod 1; two options for between 50 and 200 Safety-Arming Device Dummy MK 84 Mod 0 with Shipping and Storage Containers Safety-Arming Device MK 75, and; between 5 and 125 Safety-Arming Device, Practice MK 81 Mod 0 Assembly with Shipping and Storage Containers Safety-Arming Device MK 75. Delivery will be to the location specified in the contract. Anticipated contract type is a firm-fixed-price supply type. NAICS Code is 333999 (500 employees).
